TimeHeroes mission is to develop and encourage volunteering culture in Bulgaria. Launched in 2012, TimeHeroes.org has grown to become the largest volunteer platform in the country, with 96,600+ registered volunteers, over 1130 partner NGOs, and more than 2900 supported causes in 390 locations (updated July 2024).

Millions of hours of volunteer work have been donated through the platform so far. TimeHeroes.org is a main source for Bulgarian non-profit organizations and active citizens to recruit volunteers.

TimeHeroes also manages a youth volunteering competition called "Heroes' Cup" that encourages school students to form volunteer clubs in their schools and act as NGOs, organizing initiatives in support of different causes. For its first four editions, the competition has engaged over 2000 students in more than 120 clubs who have organized 1000+ initiatives.

Our corporate activation program is called "Volunteering Matters" and is steadily becoming an active and supportive community of socially engaged companies that currently (July 2024) features over 50 companies to which we provide help in developing their CSR strategies, organizing volunteer initiatives for their employees, inspiring new corporate volunteers and tracking impact.
