S.E.V.A. Travelers (Skilled Experienced Volunteers Abroad)California, USA

The organization's mission is to harness the power of pro bono service to strengthen the nonprofit sector in the Global South. We connect skilled volunteers, who serve as consultants and trainers while traveling abroad, with social entrepreneurs in low- and middle-income countries.
This expertise-sharing empowers local change agents to achieve greater scale and impact.

S.E.V.A. Travelers was founded in 2019 by Morry & Sandhya Rao Hermón. The idea originated from combining family vacations with meaningful, high-skilled volunteering "experteering", starting with a successful project in Cambodia followed by service holidays in Indonesia, Costa Rica, and India.
To ensure the quality of our projects, S.E.V.A. Travelers partners with reputable organizations like GlobalGiving to identify verified NGO partners in regions across Latin America, Asia, and Africa. Thanks to this exciting collaboration, S.E.V.A. Travelers offers its network of high-skilled volunteers over 180 host sites to choose from in 30 LMICs.
