iVolunteerMumbai, India

iVolunteer brings volunteers and organisations together to share time, skills and their passion for India’s social development. Founded in 2001, it has since grown to engage over 15,000 volunteers every year, and works with 350 plus NGO partners. Involved in a wide range of causes and projects across the country, iVolunteer is the largest social enterprise to enable volunteering within India.

Volunteers, corporations and NGOs are offered a variety of options for engagement, and these are based upon various factors such as the time commitment available, their location, and also the cause and nature of the volunteering service planned.

iVolunteer has the unique distinction of being the only initiative that can enable Indian volunteers to serve in other developing countries. At the same time, it also facilitates international volunteers with national developments projects. A strong portfolio of corporate partners has formed over the years, and iVolunteer aims to further build the Volunteer Management capacity of Indian and South Asian organisations.

iVolunteer Awards is India's pioneering annual event for recognising and promoting volunteering, and is estimated to have reached an audience of over 100 million people.
