What are the requirements for applying to join the Network?

There are certain criteria and requirements to become a member of our Network. Please refer to the Membership Guide for information about how to join the Network.

How can I find out more about membership?

Please view our Membership Guide. Also it would be worthwhile to browse the member organization directory to see what kind of organizations are in the Network.

How can I find out more information about an event?

Please visit the GPBN Events page, where you can find a listing of events worldwide. Also, please check the GPBN News posts to learn what will take place in future.

Who is invited to attend Regional Summits?

Attendance to Regional Summits can vary according to the event. Some events can be more open to wide range of organizations, corporations or the general public. Please check each event to see the details.

Who is invited to attend the Global Pro Bono Summit?

The Global Pro Bono Summit is an invitation-only closed event. Only members and organizations that wish to be a member and are invited by current a member organization can participate. In terms of Summit attendance, please contact any current member organization or via our contact page to apply.

How can we support the Network?

We seek strategic partners that recognize the potential of pro bono and invest in us. Please refer to Partners page and contact us for further discussion.

Can you offer advice on the co-ordination of pro bono programs?

Some member organizations have programs to support and enable other intermediaries to co-ordinate pro bono projects. Please contact us to tell us your needs.

How can I find a pro bono provider in my region?

The first thing you can do is to visit our listing of member organizations. If you find any organization that works near you, please contact them directly. If you don’t find an organization nearby, you can contact the member organizations categorized as “Global” or “Regional.”

What social sector organizations do you work with?

Most member organizations provide pro bono support for non-profit organizations that confront social problems. In some cases, the beneficiaries can include companies conducting social business, neighborhood organizations, public sector organizations, or even individuals. Some member organizations may focus on specific themes and problems whereas some may cover various fields.

We believe that government, public sector and pro bono intermediary organizations can work collaboratively to help solve social problems and advance civic participation in society. We are open to discussion with those sectors. Please contact any member organization at your convenience, or via our contact page to let us hear your interests.

How can I support the Network?

The best way to support us is simply sharing and spreading our message to your friends and colleagues, and possibly joining one of our member organizations as a pro bono worker or donate to them. Currently Global Pro Bono Network itself does not recruit individual pro bono workers or accept individual donations.

How can I find out about pro bono programs in my locality?

The first thing we would recommend is to look up our directory of member organizations. If you find any organizations that attract you, please contact them directly.

Where can I find publications by Network members?

Please see our Reports and Publications page for information. This resource is being added to over time. Please contact us if you have any specific inquiry.

Do you work with academic and research institutions?

A number of member organizations have experience working with academic institutions. We are open to collaborate with academic sectors to research deeper into the possibilities and significance of pro bono.
